As we thought about the admonition in Haggai to "consider your ways," I realized that we needed to adjust our morning routine, so we did.
Maisie and Makena were home for an hour or so, because they've completed their phlebotomy course and are just waiting for the semester to end. These two are glowers for sure.
Tonight I looked at my children and made a little check list of what we had accompished: arithmetic, grammar, music, science, history, cursive, letters to cousins, playful park time, quiet reading, CFM and work. Suddenly I became very satisfied with my offering in the progession of their souls. My soul shouts of fulfillment and happiness, even though I'm mostly behind in everything external.
