Snowman Mario

Andy came home from school with the assignment to make a snowman. He of course wanted a Mario snowman. This is what we came up with. We? I mean me. Andy did sit beside me moaning that he wanted to play Wii, but I wouldn't let him because his homework wasn't done.

MIssing Memory Card

Tonight I came to the realization that my blue SD card was no longer in the computer drive. This is a problem. No SD card, no pictures. I asked each of the children of its whereabouts, Nick fessed up, but said he "wost it." Now what? Luckily the today's uploading had taken place, but this could mean few pictures in the upcoming weeks. So here is a post as to what we've been up to today, and it just might be the last for a while.
Maddie in the Johnny-jump-up -- her first time. She loved it. During family prayer this evening she continued to "jump" and giggle whilst on my lap.

Austin's new compound miter-saw. He spent the latter portion of the day in the garage cutting the pieces for Maisie's stove. Although I don't think he used his new saw. I'll have to ask.

Nick graciously greated Maddie with a kiss this morning. Actually he does this each and every morning. Luckily he always has plently for his momma as well.

Morning cartoons. What else is Saturday morning good for?

Bernie, The Bernina

Each Saturday morning for the next couple of months Bernie and I head to Hutch for sewing classes. We went last Saturday and made some new friends.

Bernie in the raw.

(Sweet Austin gave me my new best friend for Christmas and arranged all my classes. He is just so nice.)

Home for the Holidays

A quick trip to Utah proved just the vacation Austin and I needed. Mom's house is always filled to the max with people, food, love and laughter. Here is the proof.

We also spent some time visiting with Austin's Aunt Sallee and Uncle Kevin, Aunt Kit, Casey and Jordan. We loved every minute with them.

P.S. Austin gave me the choice of going to the Brad Paisley concert or going to Utah. I don't regret my choice. However, last night the news did report that it was a rip-roaring good concert. I say nothing is more rip-roaring than a game of "Tabloid Teasers."
