Malibu Family Reunion

Last week 40 family members loaded up vans and headed to Southern California for 8 days and 7 nights.  We stayed in a luxury resort, complete with an exercise facility and the stomach flu.  Barf did not prevent our fun or togetherness.

Today Mr. and I celebrate our 12th anniversary.  He is my safest place. I love him like a fat kid loves cake.

Smokey Mountains

Last weekend Austin and I took a little trip to North Carolina.  We spent much of the time in the car because the scenery was beautiful.  Here is a picture of the smokey mountains.  We also ate southern food and met really nice people.  Most of them asked if Eddie was our first baby.  Ha!

12 Years Later

One day, almost 12 years ago, I was married.  We bought our first set of silverware.  It is now hardly a complete serving for 8, but I've added random Walmart sets to fill in the holes.  Friday night on our date, Austin bought me new set that serves 16.  It is so pretty in my drawer!  

 Can't quite get rid of the old...hoping to have two drawers of silverware, like my mom.

Independence Day

July 4th came and went like a flash, but was so fun.  We spent the day at Grandma Kim's playing outside and eating lots of good food.  Then we lit sparklers and watched all the fireworks in the valley from Traverse Mountain.

Eddie's Blessing

Austin blessed Eddie today.  The words he spoke were words of truth and testimony.  Many family members attended the blessed (pardon the pun) event.  Eddie didn't fuss or cry, and neither did Maddie!
