Homecoming 2017

Meg enjoyed Hoco with Sam this year.  Meg was so darling and so modest.  I love the way she and Sam glow of goodness!

Austin and I cooked the dinner for the group.  He made three kinds of pasta, I made French bread and a cheesecake (with fresh berries and chocolate covered strawberries).  It's a real joy to watch this girl grow up and be successful and happy and obedient.  I love my Meg.

September, We're Over It!

I took my Webelos to the police department.

 Ryan experienced 4th boy problems -- his shorts ripped while playing on the slide.

 I made this for my friend.

 I've been reading after school for a bit.  These two boys always listen so well.  I love reading!

 I made these cute Halloween pillowcases.  The two little boys both wanted the pumpkin case, so a HUGE fight happened.  Who knew?

 Grandma B.  came on Friday, and I go out and take a deep breath.  I found myself in my Mexico shirt beside all the Mexican candy.  I thought it pretty funny.

 These are the bug creations that Ryan and Grandma made.  We loved them!

 Maisie helped all the sibbies make clipboards for the upcoming conference.

Molly climbs on the dishwasher a million times everyday.

 A nice grouping of dinner help.

 Eddie needed a family picture for kindergarten.  We snapped this puppy right before everyone left for school.

 It happened that all three boys were wearing white.

 We made green cookies.

 She's 11 months, so I tried to get her to smile and be especially charming.

 Meg found this sweatshirt for $48.  I made her one for $11.

Saturday was the primary program practice.  Maisie is two weeks too old, but we needed her as a narrator and vocalist.  She was very nice to oblige.

 Look who we saw cleaning the chapel, Grandpa B.!

 Later that same day we watched the General Women's Meeting.  We were so glad to have Grandma B. with us.

 Home again for baths and bed.

 Our primary program was just so wonderful.  The children bore their testimonies through song and word, and they were engaging singers. I love my calling as chorister!

 That afternoon Eddie and Ryan helped me put all our harvest pumpkins on the table for dinner.

 Andy helped Austin with all the cooking.

 Then our family walk was a must to digest that eggplant parmesan.

 She and the Sedona sunset were very lovely.

September 2017

Molly has two top teeth. I could barely get her to be still long enough to document them.

 She moves all over all the time.

 We spent a morning painting.  It was lovely.

 Meg noticed that we were twins.

 And they were twins.

 Tuesday lunch time at school is still  going strong.  We went early to eat and jump rope with Nick and Maddie.

 I gave this away.  I think it is lovely.

 I made a jello brain for dinner.  The kids were soooo excited about it.

 Another track meet for Andy and Maisie.  They both raced well.  Maisie took 8th.

 Ryan must have captured the daily struggle of getting her dressed.  It is a wrestling match, I tell you!

 Austin is painting our old kitchen cabinets so that we can move them to the basement for my sewing area.  I am very pleased.

 My shadow is so beautiful; I wish my legs were really that long.

 Grandma's Day was a huge hit -- as always.  These two made spooky pops together.

 It was a half-day so the older kids enjoyed her as well.

 Saturday I took the Webelos hiking in Oak Creek Canyon.

 That same evening was our ward picnic.  It was delightful.  Oh, Ryan and I went to the store and he chose an apple for a treat.  It was the best tasting Gala.

 Sunday Austin spent 8 hours at church.  These two found his phone and were giggling while I just sat beside him (for five minutes).

A busy week is over, and we are on to the next.  I'm already tired.  I just want to sit.
