Today we hosted Austin's office Christmas party. Three of his team chose not come due to the pandemic, but the six that came proved to be all fun and games. We catered the meal, making our preparation much less hectic, and their gifts were in their pay checks. Simplifying our festivities meant that we spent most of the time talking and laughing.
Because the house was spotless and the leftovers plentiful, Austin and I sat down in the family room and didn't move for four hours. The children came and went, but our relaxion stayed just like the glow of the Christmas lights in that room. COZY.
