Brining the Turkey
Austin made a delicious Thanksgiving turkey, but it took much preparation the night before. The children helped him brine the bird. All were so happy exploring the giblets, too. I actually had to help identify the bird parts, but it was easy thanks to my mad chicken gutting skills of yesteryear.

I love these pics. So cute how interested they are in the turkey prep. Especially love that they are eating bananas and watching the show!
Ahhh, now we know why the turkey was so tasty. I think that was our first time eating a brined turkey. You guys should put on your own cooking clinic.
