It's been nine years since we've had a Guymon wedding! We excitedly traveled to Utah.
The contrast of the orange rocks and blue sky was breath taking.
Grandma taught me how to crochet hand towels. I tried to sit and eat it up, but I still have so many questions. I loved sitting right beside her and drinking in her quick quips, her efficient fingers and simply her (almost) 90 years of life.
This is the salad dressing for the luncheon. We multiplied it by 20!
Feeding 40 at all the meals was no easy feat, but we did it, and no one went hungry. (2 of 3 tables)
(3 of 3 tables)
These birthday friends are the cutest cousins.
Saturday morning Mom and Jim left bright and early.
Right before the ceremony I found them sitting together.
Ron performed the ceremony (he's the bishop in a Lehi ward).
My quaint little family of 10.
There's that luncheon Mom prepped for all day yesterday. The food was so delicious. My one regret is that Molly had to go potty twice, Ryan once and Eddie once, so I didn't get seconds, and I barely tasted the food.
Mom and her five sons.
My brothers.
My love.
The girls.
Meg and Sam
Meg and Mickey (they are three weeks apart in age)
Photo bombers and Allie and Meg
Then we headed to the Provo City Center Temple for the sealing. I found this random grouping of cousins.
Tons of the cousins were walking up from the parking lot together, so I pushed them together for a candid grouping.
Eddie -- The Water Bender
YAY! They are sealed for all eternity. Their obedience to God and love for Him and each other only leaves room for happy, full hearts. We are so glad they have each other.
We missed Emily in our siblings picture.
Back to the reception hall for a couple pictures with Grandma.
AHHAHAH! Mom has 47 grandchildren and two on the way.
Their reception was lovely. I barely took any pictures. But I did get Jim and Mom dancing. Lots of music, friends, family and joy.
Home and laughing with Natalie and Jenny until 3 am. We sure need each other and rely upon the strengths and wisdom we each bring.
We went to Ronnie's ward to see him conduct as the bishop. It happened to be testimony meeting, so I was able to hear him testify of the simple truths of the gospel. He had every reason to gush and share the beauty and majesty of our familial weekend, but he didn't. He testified of the atonement of Jesus Christ, the reality of heaven, the potential we have to get there, and the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I wish I could have shouted "AMEN" when he was done.
I took three naps on the way home. We watched church movies and laughed at Eddie, el nino de Tijuana.
