I took this photo after working out this morning via my phone. Ironic that I can't find my camera to blog all the other details I wanted to remember about this day. So, I guess a lost camera sums it up.
I did take the kids to the park, made toffee, went to a birthday dinner with friends, and made a Thai dish for dinner. Not to mention the girls had dance, and I worked on Christmas cards. It's time for bed.Tuesday, December 3, 2013

This is what today really looked like.
Morning "mush." That is such a great pun to describe how our morning goes.
The second round of breakfast eaters -- a bit calmer.
Dinner. Nick asked to make a "baby" roll -- I let him -- he was thrilled. I was too, because I actually listened and followed through this simple step in nurturing.
We drew nativities for FHE tonight. Maddie and Eddie helped me make the frames earlier.
I need to make a thankful tree to replace our list. Maybe tomorrow.

Finally, I came into the library to blog, and I found this marker lid, without its marker waiting for me. This is the EXACT lid that I pitched a fit about last night -- these are washable dry-erase markers that I wanted to keep from drying out. I guess I'm the only one who cares. So why do I? Not worth another fit.
We also went to Walmart after school. I told the children to "come," and a man told me I should say, MUSH!" He was quite serious. I pretened to laugh it off. If he only knew the day was just beginning.

Sunday. Today I tried to look nice for church, but I just look bloated. At least I was nice -- I rubbed cuticle cream on sixty little fingers this morning. A lady at church told me I looked tired. Ya think? I get six children ready for church on my own, plus prepared dinner and music for primary. Should I look rested? Nope. So I guess today I look tired.
I found Andy in Eddie's lap driving cars all over his face and hair. I'm next, Ed. Just be ready for when I finally sit.
Meg made us a bundt. I ate a huge slice. Fitting, I look like a huge slice of bundt.

Saturday. I moved summer clothing out to make room for the winter. Oooh, it was a chilling 65 degrees today. These girls found matching jammies. The one on the left is the first to be clever and the last to be calm. The one on the right is the queen of all hearts.
This is what I look like today -- loving little girls.

30
Yesterday was 32 days until my 32nd year is over. So, I think I'm really going to count down as to what my "32" year looks like -- the good and bad. Here is today.
Eddie, my darling boy, 19 months old, who follows me around like a puppy. He doesn't shed, although his kisses leave me just as wet. One is my favorite age.
This is me, today. 21.5 weeks pregnant. Getting big.

And just two months ago. It's amazing that my nails are polished, my makeup is on, a residual tan, and my necklace is rocking the neon. I liked my complexion in this one. Not gonna lie, it's hard to get chubby. Photo credit: Maisie.

Happy Thanksgiving
This year we had three groups of friends/family bail on sharing our Thanksgiving feast. However, it amazed me that a table set for eight, four types of meat, and two pies is no shabby show. Austin, the girls and I cooked all morning, while Andy and Nick prepared a treasure hunt. Absolutely no stress the entire day. Loved it.
Meal prep.
Festive table.
Water balloons while watching "Potter" -- the treasure at the end of the hunt. Nick's balloon popped all over the floor.
Austin grilled the best tasting turkey -- ever.
Roasted/grilled veggies.
Time for pie.
Catan.

Vertigo
Austin has been sick for 10 days; he has vertigo. He was able to go to church today, though. He's supposed to be back to work tomorrow, so I sent him to bed at 6 this evening.

Total Disertion
I took pictures of the kitchen this morning -- only dishes remain. Not a child in sight. Somehow this was a bit of a relief. I found myself working alone, thusly thinking alone. Ironic that it is easier to work alone than it is to have "help."
Oh, here they are! (It's 77 degrees today.)
