Summer Deepens

The first day of school looked like this: Two MUHS studends engaged in remote learning.
And remote napping.
PE was swimming and jumping -- homeschool is the best.
First we read about meters.
Then Austin taught us about them.
After which we built towers and played.
Maddie read an entire novel.
"Fun Friday" was rafting the Verde.
Let me tell you -- it was so fun!
Grandma paddled every second, and she was so good at it.

Sunday came and Maisie recieived her patriarchal blessing, and Meg decided that we needed to puzzle.  She was right.
Molly is really our baby, and demands that we call her, "BABY."
Hover board rides.

Summer Splish Splash Sploosh

We get to go back to church!  I made the boys masks to match their ties (Andy lost his).  Tears filled my eyes as the organ music rang clear and true.
Sitting together for hours, Austin and the boys build Lego sets.
Nice Grandma B. always has something lovely in store for us when we visit.

12 year old Austin at senoir prom with this lucky girl.
More Legos.
Swimmer Molly has lots of new tricks.  She swims back and forth without her floatie.
So, we've been married 20 years!
He spent the day at the office.  I spent the day at home.  We were supposed to be on the beach in Hawaii, but COVID hit.  So here is our one picture showing us, the ordinary elderly, and the picture is blurry.  It's a good thing we are still in love, because everyday is sweet.
Molly painted a rainbow fish.
Eddie needed three stitches -- Maddie pulled him around on the blanket and he smacked into the wall.

Grandpa came for FHE and we made posters for a few missionaries.

Selfie.
Javelinas frequent our yard and eat my garden.  Kill them.
We still swim and soak in the.  We still read and eat.  Our CFM is priceless.  Summer is endless.

Summer Bliss

Wrestling is such a staple for Ryan.
Our last day for home church. Molly fell asleep on my lap, so she's not pictured.  Every week we each prepared a message.  We were able to grow closer together and closer to our Creator.
Monday Grandpa shared dinner and FHE with us.  We made a couple posters for an ailing missionary nephew.  Grandpa just loves us.  He pulls all who walk by close to him, so that he can remind them of their bright future and his love.

Molly painted a rainbow fish.  I noticed that the rainbows matched.
Maddie pulled Eddie on a blanket and crashed him into a wall.  Austin placed three stitches.

Our 20th anniversary was this week!  We did nothing extraordinary, but we did go on a walk, and we didn't take one picture.  Listen to "Tuesdays" by Jake Scott.
We went to the river with friends, ate a picnic lunch, and built a castle out of rocks for the river fairies.

Austin and Eddie work on building and sorting Legos over the weekends.  They make a really good team that says little and just builds together.

Meg worked 60 hours.
Andy worked 40 hours.
Maisie's session of teaching swimming lessons ended.
Nick went to the lake with friends.
Maddie spent afternoons on biking adventures with her two friends in the neighborhood.
Eddie was sad the days he had to sit out from swimming due to stitches.
Ryan couldn't sit still to save his life during his progression practice.
Molly took several are lessons online.
Austin and I floated the river with friends.
Summer is ending, or is it?

Bookends.
He makes Sunday dinner.
She circles all the letter "Ms" in each chapter.
Just them. They're everything.
These two sing every night together.  Then they laugh every night together.  I know just how this feels -- Natalie and I used to do the same thing.
Ryan's little finger is stealing butter.
We decided to hike Mt. Humphreys.
It took us three hours up and two hours down.

Nick and Meg were the only bigs available, and Nick barfed the entire way up.
It was 55* at the summit.  Practically winter weather around here, I froze.

The Standifirds and Emily came to visit.  We played, swam, ate and went to bed at reasonable times.

Andy came home and his adoring aunts and uncle game him all the attention he could ever dream.  Ashley ate something  KFC funky.
Pedicures were a must.
I flipped the camera for this view.
Molly lost her finger nail.  She asked me if the nail fairy would come -- like the tooth fairy.  She found a kite under her pillow.
Maddie's lab.
I need a few more pictures.
