Poor, Little Molly

Baby #8, Miss Mollusk is sure patient with all these folks.  Andy pushed her around in that wheeled suitcase all morning long.

Maddie took her for a ride in the Walmart apple.
While waiting at the library, she found a gummy worm on the car floor and ate it.
They climb on her every morning to awaken her.  She sits up all wobbly and half awake and grins.  She's always so happy to have so many friends.
Now she crawls all over and cruises the furniture.  She was just about to dump all these dishes out of the dishwasher.  Then she climbed on and began to bounce.
She walks back and forth between Austin and me each evening right before family prayer.  All her sibbies clap and cheer.  It's the sweetest moment of the day.  I guess being completely loved by nine adorning fans doesn't make her too oppressed.  Or does it?

Andy is 14!

Andy turned 14 today!  Sheesh!  We sang him awake.
He wanted white waffles and blue berry muffins for breakfast.  I added the whipped cream and fresh fruit.  He ate so much; we all did.
I loved watched all his siblings be just as excited about his gifts as him.
He gave me a list of gifts, so shopping for him was an amazon breeze.
All he wanted for his cake was chocolate Blue Bell ice cream.  He didn't mind the brownies or the cream.

Because today was Sunday, we spent it quietly, playing games, reading and swinging on the swings.  Andy was just nice and content as he is most moments everyday.  He received the keys of the Aaronic priesthood to be a teacher, which means he prepares the sacrament each week.  My Andy is kind and a true friend.  He happily answers my pleas and knows how to fry a mean egg.  I like that he is more capable of seeing what needs to be done and doing it.  He is a good,  nice boy.

One Fine Day

We have a dollar movie theater in Sedona.  I took the kiddos to see a movie -- they wear their popcorn shirts and drink lots of pop.  They love it.  I think I'm very nice.
I have a water proof pouch for my phone making under water pictures a success.

I've finally found the perfect angle for a suit selfie -- up high with no thighs.
I've been training for my Ragnar coming up.  If I stretch, then I'm not sore.
Maddie combed my hair -- one bun on top and two braids on the sides.

The Guymons Visit

I can't even handle that Ron and his family and Mom and her family (the three youngest sibs) came for Maddie's baptism and the July 4th holiday.  It was pure joy.  We ate and swam and ate and swam.  When the kids were not swimming, they were on devices.  It was great.

Daily family scripture study was a must.
 We practically inhaled the food.

(A shout-out to Mom for ironing all the baptism clothes and Sunday shirts.  Poor thing just doesn't know how to not be serving.  I'm so glad I know how to quit serving. :)
Ron and Rachelle ran with me every morning to prepare for RAGNAR.  That was a special treat.  When the kids went in after swimming, we stayed outside and chatted in the shade.  It was all a dream.

Maddie's Baptism Day

Maddie's baptism is here!  She was all ready to go.  We left for the church right on time at 9:15 so that we had time to practice her song, take pictures and be calm.

Here we are before.  She practiced her song.  I wish I could upload it.
We had family come to town for her special event!
 13 nice cousins.
 Grandma and Grandpa B.
Grandma Kim -- we missed Grandpa Ron, but I am sure he was there.
 Us.
 Them.
 My three little sibbies.
 Our baptism girl.
 The bishop and his daughter.
All clean and bright and obedient.
We dried her off so quickly -- we beat Austin be a long shot.
Maddie is now a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Maddie was calm and aware during the entire program.  Both her grandmas spoke right to her heart.  We all learned from them.  We were blessed to feel the spirit and watch Maddie make covenants to take upon her Jesus's name, to testify of him and to love others.  She is already really good at those important character traits, so now she will have the opportunity to practice them the rest of her life and throughout eternity.
Home again to swim and head to the Ming House to start our fasts!  Dinner buffets always make all goers happy.

We played Tenzi with the group.  I often win, ergo I like that game.
