Ryan's Baptism
Today Ryan was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He's preparing to be clean on the inside and outside. He looks so shiny.
Meggles came to be apart of his special day. It's tradition to get a picture on the way to the church. I liked this one because of his white clothing.
I liked this one because of his fan club.
Here we are celebrating his decision to make his first covenant with God. We are missing Andy, but he did ZOOM in for the program.
Another family picture with our grandparents. Clearly my dad was not visibly there, but I know he was a heavenly witness.
Austin remains a valiant priesthood servant of Jesus Christ, how blessed I am that he blesses our family with his worthiness and willingness.
Sweetest, cuddliest boy of my heart. I just love this guy so much. He makes my heart sing!
I made 150 cookies -- six different types of bar cookies -- and forgot to take a picture of those cute little 3 oz. milk bottles (that mother smuggled in her suitcase) filled with milk and straws. I mean, they were delicious.
It's tradition to go to Golden Dragon for dinner post baptism. Off we went where Austin order 2x the amount of food that was needed, but no one complained. I still hasn't adjusted food amounts with Andy missing.
Just a grand ol' day -- one for the record books.
Ryan has been preparing for months for today. Online there are several resources, and we utilized them. He knows that he's promising to keep His commandments, always remember Him, and take His name upon him. Ryan knows that if he does this, he will always have the Holy Ghost to be with him. I am blessed to be his mother. It is my fervent prayer that Ryan will remember today as one of peace and covenant.

May Fete
Sunday fell on May 1st, and subsequently we fasted. I FOTGOT to feed Molly breakfast! Everyone one else now fasts, so she got her first dose of fasting. She was not thrilled.
I found this missionary scripture.Ryan's baptism is this weekend, so I dressed him up to take a few pictures. He's such a cutie pie.
His best friends helped him smile.
Eddie drew this for Andy.
I completed my 1000th Peloton workout.
My best friends helped me.
Maisie and Nick were a pickleball team at our stake activity. They were fun to watch.
Look at Ryan's dive. I still have that goal.
Our Little People villiage was rediscovered. The best bit was Eddie drawing a garden and trees to complete his "off the grid" castle.
Ryan and I practiced our duet for his baptism.Every week the lawn mower powers up, and every week the children chase
Meg and Mom came for a few days. We spent a quiet Friday evening sitting on the couch, singing at the piano and just being together. My mother taught me the holy nature of my gender, identity and purpose. I hope my daughters understand theirs. I know that if they do, their lives will be filled with divine inspiration and perhaps a bit of divine intervention.
The boys were at Father and Sons, so I need to rustle up some pics of that....
