Ryan lost his tooth in church today, luckily not during the primary's musical number.  Our YW musical number was a success, and my dear friend said she felt the spirit when we sang.  

I had meetings after church, and Molly was the only one inside when I got home. She's the only one who got her Chrimstas picture taken.  Maybe it'll happen next week.

We spent the evening cozily tucked in at Grandma B.'s house.  She feeds us and loves us.

The Christmas program at church made me heart so full of Christmas spirit.  Finally, Christmas is coming, and I feel His love and light.

We drive Dorothy to church each week.  Today she was baptized! I've decided that if I can help her have her own testimony of Jesus Christ, and if she learns the power of obedience, she will save generations.

I baked four sheet cakes today for a funeral.  I'm really hoping Brother Harold Allred knows that I'll really miss him, because I used four pounds of butter to bake the cakes.  Maisie helped me.

I made each of the children wear two rubberbands on their wrists.  When they did not obey the first time, they had to give me a rubberband.  They could earn it back by completing the task.  It worked!

School is happening in three different rooms.  The dining room.

Molly wrote a letter to Santa's workshop in Grangeville, Idaho.  She received a response and was so happy.

We went caroling for our YW/YM activity.  Pretty much my dream come true -- I was able to sing at the top of my lungs for an entire hour.

My scholars were very unruly today; it took us the whole day to complete our few tasks.  Alas, we settled in for FHE and relaxed. 

A bit of hide and seek and "The Family Proclamation" completed us perfectly.

December 12, 2021

Austin and I awakened at 5:45 am and drove home to feed and prepare the family for church.  Andy spoke and testified of covenants and temples.  Maisie was released as the YW president, Nick was made 1st councilor in the teachers' quorum, and Maddie was made 2nd councilor in the YW presidency.

Dorothy is our little friend that we pick up each week for church.  She is getting baptized this Saturday!

After long naps and quiet card games, we feasted on leftovers and cereal.

Right now Austin is teaching his two little boys about owning a business and home economics.  What a touching bed-time story.  So practical and so realistic are his lessons.  Maybe he should stay home and teach them, I guess I could go work at the grocery store and get paid my highest wage of $8.50/hour.
