Home Again

I flew home from Utah today.
These nice children sat beside me to chat and catch up.  Austin and the bigs left for a fireside as soon as I came home.
Her nightly feeding, safe at home.

Saturday on the Town

9:00 am and we were just awakening in our Marriott suite.  After a lovely buffet, we decided to make ourselves presentable.  Grandma Kim cooed and loved these two cousins.  They chatted for a good ten minutes and were really content.
We ate tons of dinner at this swanky restaurant.  I love my siblings holding my baby.

Ricky and Mark had a choir concert.  It was unbelievably awesome!  Oh, the Christmas spirit swelled in my heart many times.

December 9th

Today is Daddy's 66th birthday.  How blessed we were to simply be together in Utah.  Molly and I flew there yesterday, and spent the day in Highland and the evening in Salt Lake.

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir was just delightful.  Patty and Tyler kept babies Molly and Kate, and we were able to fill our souls with spirit of this magical season.  We sure missed Kimmie, as it is always pure bliss to be together.

I missed him today.  A lot.  I couldn't help but think about his cold bones in the ground, yet his warmth always surrounds me.  His legacy will live on through many generations.

December 7th

Maisie's FIG activity was an ugly sweater party where we painted canvases and ate ymmy treats.  She's that darling christmas tree holding the star on the far right.  It was a real treat to sit with her and create.  Maisie girl is so creative, that our canvas turned out pretty good -- I'll always have her on my team!

December 5th

A day of organization and baking.  These little darlings smashed on my lap just after scripture time.  Eddie now wears his festive Santa hat instead of his baseball cap.  Ryan picks his nose until it bleeds, but he also goes all kinds of potty in the potty.  Molly is mauled and fat, what a nice life she leads.

December Sabbath

The First Presidency Devotional was hardly quiet.  Yet, in God's plan my role is to always wrangle a 2 year old.  I've decided that although my outside world is a bit crazy, I can have an inner joy and peace that comes from fulfilling my role as mother and wife.  Both peace and calm are attributes of the holiday season, so I suppose I do keep Christmas in my heart all year long (mostly).
Maisie pulled her hair through the hat.
 Molly donned leopard.
 After church.
I thought she looked beautiful during church.
 Mother's Lounge
Sunday morning friends (many of those fell asleep in their clothing).

Cottonwood Annual Christmas Parade

Every year we attend the parade.  This year the two girls were apart of a pioneer float put on by some RS ladies in the community.

They were nice spectators.  Meg only hid behind the those bushes twice (when school athletes came by).

He and I sat and laughed and cheered.  SO fun.

Ryan didn't quite know what to think of Santa.
Beautiful weather and holiday spirit attened the entire event.

Office Party 2016

Austin's office staff came over for the annual Christmas party.  He made us delcicious Italian food, and we opened lavish gifts.  There was a spirit of the holiday that was undeniable.  Christmas is upon us!

We really are blessed to have to best staff, ever!
