Because Austin works every Monday night, we decided to sit as a family and have FHE. Our goal was to read a current conference talk and make connections. We were hoping that Meg would play quietly beside us. Alas! The dreaded blow-out noise was followed by the stream of yellow seedy poop pooling quickly up her entire back. The next 30 minutes Austin and I worked together to give her a warm bath and snuggle her in for a long winter's nap. (We never made it back to our FHE lesson, but we did pray, sing and enjoy bathing our baby as our activity. I know Heavenly Father laughed with us that our good intention happened to only be that -- a good intention.). Maybe we'll try again next week.

Happy First Anniversary
Happy First Anniversary to us! One year later and we're standing exactly where we stood just moments after we made eternal covenants with God and with each other one year ago. How blessed we feel to have our little baby already very established in our family.
("Our 1st anniversary! Same kiss on year before, only a baby in between us.")
After spending the afternoon in Highland at my parents, Daddy-o graciously agreed to forego his afternoon nap to make my dreams come true -- capturing how proud we are to be husband and wife and parents of our darling angel, Meg.
"The first commandment that God gave to Adam and Eve pertained to their potential for parenthood as husband and wife." Feeling so blessed as we obeyed that same first commandment that God gave to Adam and Eve.
Love him. Love her. Love us.
