Maybe It Can't Get Better

Our Sunday services are just amazing.  Eddie played our opening song, and Maddie played our closing song.  Each of us speak and testify of an assigned gospel principle.
We are so happy feeling the peace of Jesus Christ's power and atonement.
Just a little bit of boredom during primary.
We often spend Sunday evening at Grandma's house.  Grandpa's birds are growing.
I found these two reading together while I was working.
I spent five days going through drawers and closets preparing a clean house for company.  Look at this mess, I cleaned it up.
They spent the week being creative and neglected.
I found this masterpiece penguin, but what I really wanted to remember is exactly what Ryan looked like when he drew it.  It's blurry, though.
 I found her like this.
Those three boys all wore matching dinosaur pajamas.
He crawled into my bed and took it over.  I didn't mind.
Thursday came and Maisie I prepared every room in the house with clean sheets, duvets, comforters and towel animals.  We think we are clever.

I also printed pictures that correspond to the magnets I picked up all over the world. <3 p="">
My laundry room counter has wedding pictures of parents and grandparents -- they are covenant keepers.
Home is indeed a heaven on earth -- especially when every nook and cranny is clean and organized.

Routine

They put on a concert.
My rose tree is blooming right outside my kitchen window.
Maddie taught Ryan how to cartwheel.
We took friends on our favorite hike.

Then we caught tadpoles.
They put on a concert for us.

Mother's Day

I enjoyed the best Mother's day, ever.  Meg and Austin made a day filled with lovely activities that me feel so loved and wanted.
Molly rubbed lotion on my toes and feet before I got out of bed.
Breakfast was lovely.  Aren't they so lovely?
After a lovely church meeting and CFM lesson, we read books on the grass, ate lunch and napped.  For rillz.  I wasn't in charge of anything or anybody, and I sat a enjoyed it all.
Here is the quiet afternoon craft -- finger painting magnets.
After dinner, I enjoyed an entire program of song and sentiments.
We were so glad to have Grandma and Grandpa join us.
Here is the link to their Mother's Day Tribute.  Copy and paste in the browser to see their individual skits.  It's worth it if you have time.

Final picture in all the glory.  Now I just wish I didn't annoy them so much.
I don't know.  This mother gig is real.  I need a manual and training.  I don't think I'm cut out for this.  I guess it's too late.

Maybe

Andy got his first job! KFC is so lucky to have this nice boy for 20+ hours each week.

I didn't want to make lunch one day, so I looked up to see which day of the week is 1/2 price corn dogs at Sonic.  It turns out that doesn't exist -- I have no idea where I came up with that.  So, Nick and I made our own.  Everyone was thrilled.

Early one morning they found me.  I was so glad.
She changes clothes a million times everyday.  At least outfit was apropos for our daily afternoon swimming.
 Our new suits came.
Molly can jump off the diving board!  She's a good little fish now.
 Maddie loved her dunking session.
Zoom in.  I actually swam and dove into the pool.  Like, dove well enough, that Austin audibly cheered.
The big girls helped me move the toys under the stairs, and move Molly's kitchen and dollhouse into the playroom.
 I found this nice selfie.
I don't seem to get much done, and yet I'm exhausted most days.  Maybe one day I'll sleep 12 consecutive hours.

April Finale

Our Sunday meetings are lovely.  Maisie was in charge of Sunday school.  We played a lovely game reviewing seminary final questions.  (I won.)
I read Sister Joy B. Jones's conference talk and fixed my felt board accordingly.
Sunday afternoons we get on ZOOM and Grandma Goodell tells us all about her life.  She talks about her life

The pool is warm!  We swam all six days this week.  We invited friends over most days, and we ate and swam together.
Eddie wanted crepes for breakfast.  Delish.
These two are her big friends.

Meg and I were twins one afternoon.
Do you see Eddie's pencil?  He used his pocket knife during his school time and carved it.
Maddie and Ryan timed their momentum perfectly and hit legs.
 We also pool hopped.
I have several plants that are very happy.

We spent the afternoon with dear friends.
 Three are in this tube.
Four dudes are in this tube.
Early morning is so bright and full.  Austin and I went to Molly's kitchen and she baked us pie.
I found Maisie on my phone.  She is bright and happy.
There is something about this endless summer that is feels so warm and sweet. I wish this "endless" vibe was real.
