After spending the morning at church, we spent the afternoon raking leaves and collecting pecans. See all those black leaves on the trees? Those are the pecans. Eddie and Ryan came home with a Walmart bag breaking from the weight.
Austin and I attended a fundraiser dinner for the special needs adults in our community. We always enjoy the food and live band/dancing. There is no expectation of how well we dance, not one sole in the room cares.Instead, we enjoy the company of all the angelic children of God that perform and dance beside us.

Maddie's class was in charge of the popcorn, so we helped all afternoon.
I came home from taking Andy to his YM activity, and I found these little elves sorting their gifts into piles. It looks as though Molly is walking on the presents. Nice. I remember doing the same with mine.Thursday, December 13, 2018

Maddie's Christmas choir concert was this evening. She sang a lovely duet and we very visible with her big green bow in the front row.
Afterwards the night began. Maisie helped me get the littles to sleep, while I worked with our very biggest. Meg needed to finish her BYU application essays (She's so old!) and Andy had a geometry project. 10:30 came and we finally went to bed.

We spent the morning cleaning my room and decorating it.
Then we went to parent-led conferences. Maddie and Eddie showed me their projects.
Eddie made the arctic. He forgot to use the cottonballs for snow and the reindeer moss. But he did remember his to sculpt his penguins and seal and to make his arctic flowers.

Ryan learned about Jonah in primary yesterday, and he wanted to learn more today. We did. Then we printed come coloring pages.
But first, he took a shower and looked so cute getting dressed.
