Paris Part I

We arrived in Paris and were immediately lost, so it took us a bit to get our bearings.

 First night, though, we took a cooking class and ate a three course meal with Cerrol, our chef.

 Sortie means exit.  That was special.  People on the subway in Paris were way more stinky.

 These strawberries were pretty much the best I have ever eaten.

We paid $3 an apple.

 The Musee Rodin.  My favorite statue -- "The Kiss."

 Our time inside Notre Dame was crowded, and we didn't take the steps to the top.  I was surprised that so much light came in.

 The chapel at San Chappel was by far my favorite church -- the stained glass windows were mesmerizing.

Off the the Louvre to find Mona.

 These were my favorite furniture.  I hope Austin can make me one.

 The evening streets were enchanting, we heard the buskers serenading the lovers and we stopped to take it all in.  Evening found us back watching the Copa Europa.

Versailles was impressive.

 I think I should paint our pool gates gold.

 We got lost in the gardens, well he knew where we were, but I just followed.

 No wonder the heads of the royality were chopped off, this place was way lavish.

 Hall of Mirrors.  I got design ideas for my new kitchen.

London Part II

London allowed us to walk 10 miles each day.  It was easy, though, we we're pushing strollers or toting a diaper bag.  We simply held hands for hours -- uninterrupted.

 We wandered for hours in the market.

 We didn't ride the double decker, but it sure looked inviting.

We found the crown jewels at the Tower of London. 

 The Tower Bridge was impressive from above.  Here we are looking at the street below.

The city cruise was another way to see the city, float the Thames and sit a bit.

 We ate the most delicious brownie from this market.

 Aren't those flowers enchanting?

The theater was calling us once again, "The Lion King" script was almost word for word as the movie.  I could have quoted it all!

 Final night -- preparing paperwork for Paris.

London Part I

Europe 2016 proved to be everyting wonderful.  Thank you to family who kept my seven darlings while we were away 10 days. Flying Buisness Class to London was a huge perk -- we acutally were able to sleep fully on our backs and watch as many musicals as we wanted!

 After navigating the Tube, The British Museum was a must.

 I found some "javelinas" that reminded me of home.

 The new Pharaoh.

 We rode the London Eye and took in the spectaular views from way up in the sky.

 The Elizabeth Tower housing Big Bed, the bell.

 Westminister Abbey.

 Buckingham Palace from close up and in Hyde Park.

 Around the corner we found the horses and stables -- they stunk like horses.

 Indian dosas dinner at Sagar.

 Austin kept us moving in the right direction -- China Town.

 Hampton Court, hunting lodge to King Henry the VIII in the mid 16th century.

 The kitchen was my favorite stop -- the staff had a five burner stove to feed the 600 guests.

The property had a maze.

Kitchen garden.

We went to the theater!

His menu looks like he is holding those two beers.

Copa Europa was taking place, so Austin bought the big boys impressive soccer jerseys.

We had to eat fish and chips.  Shockingly enough, they were bland.

Wandering around town at night was romantic.
